CAPES Post-Doctoral Scholarship - “Dynamics and correlations of quantum systems in low dimensions”.

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to realize a 7-month post-doctoral stay in the group of Prof. Cristiane de Morais Smith at the University of Utrecht: http://www.staff.science.uu.nl/~morai101/

This scholarship is part of a CAPES-NUFFIC project on the study of dynamics and correlations of quantum systems in low dimensions, which involves Brazilian groups at UFRN (Natal-RN), IFSC-USP (São Carlos-SP) and UFPA (Belém-PA).

The duration of the stay will be up to 7 months. The selected candidate will benefit from a CAPES scholarship (2.100 euros/month, plus installation grant, plus travel expenses, plus health insurance).

The candidate should have experience in theoretical condensed matter theory or field theory.  

According to CAPES regulations, she/he must be Brazilian or hold a permanent visa in Brazil.

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to realize a 12-month Phd stay (doutorado sanduíche) in the group of Prof. Cristiane de Morais Smith at the University of Utrecht: http://www.staff.science.uu.nl/~morai101/ This scholarship is part of a CAPES-NUFFIC project on the study of correlations in low dimensional systems,

which involves Brazilian groups at UFRN (Natal-RN), IFSC-USP (São Carlos-SP) and UFPA (Belém-PA).

The duration of the stay will be up to 12 months. The selected candidate will benefit from a CAPES scholarship (1.300 euros/month, plus installation grant, plus travel expenses, plus health insurance).

The candidate should have completed her/his Master project in the areas of: condensed matter theory, field theory, AMO physics, quantum information.

According to CAPES regulations, she/he must be Brazilian or hold a permanent visa in Brazil and be a PhD student of one of the Brazilian network institutions: UFRN (Natal-RN), IFSC-USP (São Carlos-SP), UFPA (Belém-PA).
