By plane
The campus is 35 km away from the International Airport of Confins (CNF), with daily flights to locations all over the country as well as worldwide.
From the airport, the campus can be accessed by car (taxi or app). The trip lasts for about 30-40 minutes and costs around R$70 to R$120.
There are also bus services with fees ranging from R$19,60 (conventional bus) to R$42,60 (executive). In both cases one can hop off in front of the campus entrance at Av. Antônio Carlos. The trip lasts for about 1 hour (cf. https://conexaoaeroporto.com. br/).

The coach terminal station at Belo Horizonte is approximately 7 km away from the University campus.
There are metropolitan bus lines directly connecting the coach station to the University. From the coach station, walk straight ahead until you reach Praça Rio Branco, then turn right and cross Rua dos Caetés, and you will find the MOVE station just ahead. Take any bus line heading towards Pampulha Station, then hop off at the MOVE station named "UFMG". Estimated travel time is 30 minutes, and the ticket costs R$5,25.
