The Autumn Meeting of the Brazilian Physical Society (previously ENFMC) is the largest Physics meeting in Brazil, joining nearly 1,000 Brazilian and international researchers and students.
The Meeting has been held yearly since 1978. It congregates the major areas:
- Atomic and Molecular Physics
- Biological Physics
- Condensed Matter and Materials Physics
- Medical Physics
- Optics and Photonics
- Physics in Industry & Companies (new)
- Statistical and Computational Physics
In 2018, in its 41th edition, the Meeting will be held in Foz do Iguaçu, in the southern State of Paraná, near the world-famous Iguassu Falls.
